Where can I buy the gift card?

Gift cards can be purchased from Mall of Tripla gift card kiosks or online from here. Gift card kiosks are found in the following locations:
2nd floor: opposite Dressmann store
3rd floor: opposite O'Learys restaurant
4th floor: next to information point and in Pasila railway station opposite of Kaivokukka-store.

The gift cards can be purchased with the most common payment cards, excl. Diners Club and American Express cards. Please note that cash payment is not possible. From the gift card kiosk, you can choose the desired number of gift cards and load them with the desired amount between €10 and €500. Before proceeding to the checkout, the automat ensures that you wish to make a purchase for the selected amount, and at this point, the purchase can still be canceled. The automat prints a receipt for a successful payment transaction. The recipient of the payment is Tripla Mall Ky. Payment transactions at ATMs are handled by Nets Oy and the gift card program is delivered by EML Payments ltd. Mall of Tripla is not responsible for the liabilities of other operators.

From the gift card online store, you can buy a gift card anywhere, even in Rovaniemi! You can choose the number of gift cards and the amount to be uploaded. The design of the electronic gift card can be chosen to suit, for example, a birthday, Christmas or Mother's Day and and can be complemented by a personal message. After that, the gift card is ready to be sent to the recipient by SMS or email. 

It is also possible to schedule the sending of a gift card purchased online. You can therefore purchase a friend a birthday present well in advance, and choose the desired date as the delivery date. 

In connection with the electronic gift card, there is a redemption code that allows the gift card recipient to redeem the gift card from Tripla's gift card kiosks. It is possible to redeem a gift card purchased from the online store for a period of 3 months, starting from the date on which the recipient received the electronic gift card. The electronic gift card itself is not accepted as a means of payment in our stores, but the physical gift card must be redeemed from the centre's gift card kiosks. After redemption, the gift card is valid for 12 months. 

How much money can be uploaded to the gift card?

Gift card can be uploaded with any chosen value between 10€-500€.

How long is the gift card valid?

A gift card purchased from the shopping centre is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It is therefore recommended to note the date of purchase of the gift card, or attach a receipt from the automat to the gift card, to inform the recipient of the validity period. The 12-month validity period for gift cards purchased from the online store starts from the moment the gift card is redeemed from the shopping center with a value code.

The validity period of a gift card can easily be checked here, using the QR code on the back of the card or at Mall of Tripla's gift card kiosks. The validity of the gift card cannot be extended, and any unused funds on the card cannot be refunded.

Where can I use the gift card?

The gift card is valid in almost all stores at Mall of Tripla. The aim is to include new stores in the gift card as soon as possible after opening. Unfortunately, stores whose payment terminals are not suitable for the payment method system used by Mall of Tripla's gift card cannot be added to the gift card program. The gift card cannot be used as a means of payment at banks and exchange offices. The gift card cannot be used as a means of payment for contracted products, such as telephone subscriptions. Stores may have their own restrictions regarding the use of gift cards, so please always check with the store. Each store applies its own refund regulations and policies for gift card purchases.

How to use the gift card?

The gift card can be used at once or to pay for more than one purchase. The gift card can only be used to pay the amount of the current balance. If the purchase exceeds the balance of the gift card, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. The customer needs to know the balance of the gift card so that the store can charge the correct amount. If there is money left on the gift card after the purchase, this will not be returned in cash, but the funds will remain on the gift card.

What if the gift card does not work?

The most common reason for the gift card not to work is the fact that the balance of the gift card is not enough to cover the purchase. In this case, check the balance and validity period of the card here or using the QR code on the back of the card so that the store knows how to charge only the amount on the card from the card. The remaining amount will then have to be paid using another payment method.

Returns and special situations

In the case of returns and exchanges of products purchased with the Mall of Tripla gift card, always follow the store's own guidelines concerning returns and exchanges. The gift card cannot be returned after the purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash. An expired, lost or stolen card will not be replaced. In case of any problems, you can contact the infromation desk at Mall of Tripla (4th floor).
